Why us

Award-winning expertise recognised

Over the years, we’ve been nominated for various awards — but most recently, in 2024, we were honoured to be one of just eight advisers nationwide shortlisted for Pension Broker/Financial Adviser of the Year at the Irish Pension Awards. This recognition highlights the positive impact our work has on business owners and their families. Organised by European Pensions, the awards celebrate excellence across the Irish financial services sector.

In February 2025, our business growth was also recognised closer to home when we were shortlisted for the Local Enterprise Office Excellence Award by Sligo Chamber of Commerce. This award acknowledges businesses demonstrating strong growth potential and future employment, particularly those supported by the Local Enterprise Office in Sligo. We’re proud to see our progress and commitment to clients reflected in these achievements.

People who share your vision

We work with business owners who are beginning to think about retirement which may include the sale of your business. Focusing on business owners has helped us to develop an excellent understanding of the challenges you face and the opportunities that exist to strengthen your financial position. It also allows us to work with a small number of business owners and truly give you our undivided attention.

Being business owners ourselves, we have years of experience running a company and understand how you can benefit from our help.

A professional but personal approach

Being a small firm allows us to have a personal relationship with you. Teamwork is paramount to how we operate, and we will ensure you have more than one contact in the firm and that someone will always be on hand to answer your queries. With more than 50 years of experience between us, we combine our expertise and resources to best serve you.

Long-term value guaranteed

We hope that you will be with us for life and we will cement ourselves as your trusted financial planner. We don’t do one-off transactions. We do things differently and practice lifestyle financial planning, which means the focus is on you and your goals, what matters most, rather than financial products. We’re fairly unique in the way we work, and business owners across Ireland are benefitting from the bespoke service we provide.

Solutions spoken in your language

Transparency is the key to building trust. We never keep secrets and will always tell you the truth, even if it’s not what you might want to hear. We’re also completely open about the fees we charge from our first meeting together, so there are never any surprises. We will also outline our investment principles and explain in plain English how we can help you make smart long-term investment decisions.
